Hunter Mode is the core mode of CryptoHunter World, designed to allow players to experience a true adventure as a hunter. This mode is an M2E (Move to Earn) + P2E (Play to Earn) service model that integrates the user's real-world activities with the game. The specific functions and features of Hunter Mode are as follows:
GPS-based activity tracking
Hunter Mode uses the GPS function to track the user's walking speed and moving distance in real time. This allows users to actually walk around and spot and capture cryptids. Since this system works based on users' actual activities, it prevents abuse and ensures fair gameplay.
Score-based reward system (M2E)
While Hunter Mode is activated, all user activities are converted into score points. This score influences utility token distribution and users can receive token rewards based on their score. Factors that affect your the score include:
GPS accuracy: Accuracy of the user's location and movement path.
Target speed: The degree to which a specified target speed is maintained.
Exercise Time: Time and energy spent exercising.
Type of Shoes NFT: Score bonus depending on the type of NFT shoes worn by the user
Performance of Shoes NFT: Additional scores based on the Performance stat of Shoes NFT.
Battles against Cryptid: Number of battles won.
Cryptid Capture: Number of cryptids captured.
Cryptid Rarity: Bonus points based on the rarity of the Cryptid user capture.
Cryptid capture and battle (P2E)
In Hunter Mode, you have a certain chance to discover and capture wild cryptids. When encountering a cryptid, the user can choose whether to battle or run away. To capture a wild cryptid, you can use a Crypball on the battle page. The capture probability varies depending on the wild cryptid's health or the type of Crypball. Additionally, you can receive additional rewards even if you win the battle without catching a wild Cryptid.
